bro i was literally sitting in my room at 3am thinking about absolutely nothing when suddenly the ceiling fan started spinning in a way that felt personally disrespectful, so i opened my fridge for emotional support and found a cucumber staring directly into my soul like it knew what i did in 2017, then my phone vibrated even though there were no notifications, my chair made a suspicious noise, and somehow a single sock appeared on the floor despite me wearing both of them five minutes ago, honestly at this point i think my house is running its own government and i am no longer a citizen, just a confused unpaid intern with access to the microwave

This is a legitimate allegory for materialism versus spiritual enlightenment. Speed shouting diamonds! is the perfect embodiment of human greed and attachment to the physical world. He chases the diamond because society tells him it represents supreme wealth, power, and high status. When it turns out to be lapis instead of a diamond, his immediate reaction is rage and confusion, the literal suffering born from unmet material expectations. Kai represents the man who sees past the illusion. He looks at the exact same blue block and he sees its true nature. Lapis lazuli historically is the stone of wisdom, truth, and celestial royalty. It is a stone used for deep contemplation. By stating "its la peace" Kai is pointing Speed toward inner tranquility. He is telling him to stop chasing the fleeting high of diamonds and embrace the enchanting beauty of the present moment.
